THE PLANNING BOARD OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA will hold a meeting
on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers of City
Hall.
The following items will be heard:

Statement of Quasi -Judicial proceedings provided by the City Attorney's Office.
All persons who will be addressing the Planning Board will be required to be

Case No.: 2-P-17 - Vacation of Easement
Project Name: Woodmont Country Club
Petitioner: Michael Vonder Meulen, AICP of Keith and
Associates, Inc., Designated Agent for the property
owner, Woodmont Country Club.
Petition: Requesting approval of a Vacation of Easement
petition to allow for the vacation of a portion of the 20'
platted utility easement to allow the construction of
the approved Clubhouse and Cart Barn buildings in
conjunction with the Woodmont Country Club
Masterplan project.

Petition: Pole Sign at West Commercial Boulevard: to allow for
relief from Section 18-25(19) of the City of Tamarac
Code of Ordinances to permit a pole sign along West
Commercial Boulevard, where pole signs are
prohibited; and from Section 18-51(19)a dimensional
requirements to allow (1) a maximum sign height of
eighteen feet (18') where a maximum height of eight
feet (8') is permitted; and (2) a maximum sign area of
one hundred twenty (120) square feet where a
maximum sign area of seventy-two (72) square feet is
permitted.
Case No.: 2-B-17 - Sign Variance
Petition: Pole Sign at U.S. Highway 441: to allow for relief from
Section 18-25(19) of the City of Tamarac Code of
Ordinances to permit a pole sign along U.S. Highway
441, where pole signs are prohibited; and from the
Section 18-51(19)a dimensional requirements to allow
(1) a maximum letter height of twenty-four inches
(24") where a maximum letter height of eighteen
inches (18") is permitted; (2) a maximum sign height
of twenty-one feet (21') where a maximum height of
eight feet (8') is permitted; and (3) a maximum sign
area of one hundred ninety-five (195) square feet
where a maximum sign area of seventy-two (72)
square feet is permitted.
