HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-04-14 - City Commission Special Meeting Minutes1 CITY OF TAMARAC CITY COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY, APRIL 14, 1997 CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the special meeting to order on Monday, April 14, 1997, at 9:00 a.m. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida. PRESENT: Mayor Joe Schreiber Vice Mayor Larry Mishkin Commissioner John E. McKaye Commissioner Karen L. Roberts Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof ALSO PRESENT: Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney Nancy Wilson, Media Coordinator Phyllis Polikoff, Office Specialist *********************************************************************************************** City Attorney Kraft advised that he needed direction regarding Berkowitz vs. City of Tamarac, Case #92-17077, and the special meeting would commence afterward. He advised that Mayor Schreiber, Vice Mayor Mishkin, Commissioners McKaye, Roberts and Sultanof, City Manager Noe, he and Attorney Michael Burke would attend the Attorney - Client Session. Mayor Schreiber recessed the special meeting at 9:10 a.m. and the special meeting reconvened at 10:10 am. with everyone in attendance.
