HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-12-01 - City Commission Special Meeting MinutesCITY OF TAMARAC CITY COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY, DECEMBER 1, 1997 CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the special meeting to order on Monday, December 1, 1997, at 10:15 a.m. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest 88`" Avenue, Tamarac, Florida. PRESENT: Mayor Joe Schreiber Vice Mayor Larry Mishkin Commissioner John E. McKaye Commissioner Karen L. Roberts Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof ALSO PRESENT: Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager Mitchell S. Kraft, City Attorney Nancy Wilson, Media Coordinator Francine Bashner, Office Specialist ■■r�rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr��rrrrrrrrrrr�rrrrrrrrrrrr�rrrr� City Attorney Kraft advised that he needed direction regarding Ellen Wood vs. City of Tamarac, Claim #212-52-6848, and Celia Hogan vs. City of Tamarac, Case #96-6191 and the special meeting would commence afterward. He advised that Mayor Schreiber, Vice Mayor Mishkin, Commissioners McKaye, Roberts, and Sultanof, City Manager Noe, William Platow, Special Counsel and Michael Burke, Special Counsel would attend the Attorney -Client Session. Mayor Schreiber recessed the special meeting at 10:20 a.m. and the special meeting reconvened at 11:30 a.m. with everyone in attendance.
