HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-03-27 - City Commission Workshop Meeting MinutesCITY OF TAMARAC CITY COMMISSION WORKSHOP/ORIENTATION THURSDAY, MARCH 27, 1997 CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Schreiber called the workshop/orientation to order on Thursday, March 27, 1997, at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room #1 of Tamarac City Hall, 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida. PRUENT Mayor Joe Schreiber Vice Mayor Larry Mishkin Commissioner Karen L. Roberts Commissioner Marc L. Sultanof ABSENT AND EXCUSED: Commissioner John E. McKaye ALSO PRESENT: Robert S. Noe, Jr., City Manager Jeffrey L. Miller, Director of Community Development Phyllis Polikoff, Office Specialist Tape 1 Community Develument Jeff Miller made a presentation. Tape 2 Jeff Miller continued with his presentation. Mayor Schreiber adjourned the workshop/orientation at 10:30 a.m. to discuss the HTE agreement on the March 26, 1997 City Commission agenda. The workshop commenced at 10:40 a.m. City Manager Noe said that City Attorney Kraft advised that the HTE agreement could be discussed. City Commission Workshop/Orientation March 27, 1997 ff Page 2 Levent Sucuoglu, MIS Director, and John Rickerby, Harward Technical Enterprises, made presentations With no further discussion, Mayor Schreiber adjourned the workshop at 11:00 a.m. and reconvened the orientation at 11:05 a.m. ALSO PRESENT: Kline Jones, Wastewater Systems Manager Tony Rabbat, Utilities Engineer John Harvey, Water Plant Supervisor Fran Oney, Laboratory Manager Utilities Department Kline Jones and Tony Rabbat made presentations. Water Treatment Plant John Harvey and Fran Oney made presentations. With no further discussion, Mayor Schreiber adjourned the workshop/orientation at 12:00 p.m. v Carol A. Evans, CIVIC City Clerk
