SPECIAL MEETING - ELECTION RESULTS
CITY COUNCIL
TAMARAC, FLORIDA
Please be advised of a SPECIAL MEETING of the CITY COUNCIL to be
held on Tuesday, March 16, 1982, at 10:00 A.M., in the Council Chambers
of City Hall, 5811 N.W. 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida 33321.
The Council will take action on the following items:
1) Charter Board Member - Election Results - Temp. Reso. #2212 -
Discussion and possible action to declare the results of the
voting for a Charter Board Member for Group 1.
2) Charter Amendments - Election Results - Temp. Reso. #2213 -
Discussion and possible action to declare the results of the
voting for the Amendments to Section 7.11 and to Sections
6.02 and 8.01 of the Charter.
3) City Council - District 4 - Election Results - Temp. Reso. #2214 -
Discussion and possible action to declare the results of the
voting for the Council representative for District 4.
4) Swearing -in of new Charter Board members and Council members.
5) Appointment of Vice Mayor for a one-year term.
The Council may consider such other business as may come before it.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Pursuant to Chapter 80-105 of Florida Law, Senate Bill No. 368:
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City
Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or
hearing, he will need a record the proceedings and for such
purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record includes
the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

REVISED NOTICE
SPECIAL MEETING - ELECTION RESULTS
CITY COUNCIL
TAMARAC, FLORIDA
Please be advised that the Special Meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
on Tuesday, March 16, 1982, will be called to order at 10:00 a.m. and then
immediately recessed to 1:30 p.m, due to a conflicting commitment of Mayor
Falck. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
5811 N.W, 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida 33321.
At the Regular Council Meeting of March 10, 1982, the following
three items were tabled to the above Special Meeting and will be discussed
after the items pertaini,ng'to the election:
2) Bid Award - Temp. Reso. #2177 - Discussion and possible action
to award a bid for painting and structural repairs at the water
treatment plant of Tamarac Utilities West.
11) Health Insurance - Discussion and possible action.
20) Beautification Regulations - Tamp. Ord, #964 - Discussion and
possible action to amend Chapter 6 of the Code to permit Council
to approve optional designs of walls separating business from.
residential property. First Reading.
The Council may consider such other business as may come before it.
The public is encouraged to attend.

CALL TO ORDER: Vice Mayor Disraelly called the Special Meeting for
Election Results on Tuesday, March 16, 1982 at 10:00 A.M. in the
Council Chambers.

Councilman Philip B. Kravitz
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: Mayor Walter W. Falck

ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Arthur M. Birken
Assistant City Clerk, Carol A. Evans
V/M Disraelly called for a moment of Meditation and the Pledge of
Allegiance.
C/M Zemel MOVED that this meeting be RECESSED to 1:30 P.M., SECONDED
by C/M Kravitz.
VOTE:
ALL VOTED AYE
MEETING WAS RECESSED TO 1:30 P.M.
