Reso. #10512 — July 29, 2004 Page 1 Rev. 1 -- 8/16/04 I Rev. 2 — $/1 i/04 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA RESOLUTION NO, R-2004--D A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO ESTABLISH USER FEES FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND FACILITIES AT CITY PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES EFFECTIVE IN FISCAL YEAR 2005; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, Florida, recognizes the need for recreational and social service facilities and services and authorizes that the facilities and services be provided by the City of Tamarac, Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, generally fees are charged for facilities and services based on both costs and level of subsidy; and WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation Program fees are recommended by the Parks and Recreation Director or designee considering staff time, materials and other direct costs for the program; and WHEREAS, for the City of Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department to provide quality facilities and services, the City must establish fees accordingly; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director and Finance Director recommend the adoption of the fee structure outlined herein to be effective Fiscal Year 2005; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac, to authorize the Parks and Recreation fee schedule outlined herein effective Fiscal Year 2005. Reso. #10512 — July 29, 2004 Page 2 Rev. 1 — 8/16/04 Rev. 2 — 8/17/04 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
