RESOLUTION NO. R-93- sp
A RESOLUTION ISSUING REVISED DEVELOPMENT
ORDER NO. 253-2 FOR GRANVILLE PROJECT FOR A
REVISED SITE PLAN PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 10-2 THROUGH 10-29
OF THE TAMARAC CODE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructions of the City
louncil of Tamarac, Florida, a public meeting has been advertised
in accordance with applicable law of the date, time and place of
the meeting regarding the review of the application for a revised
development order by the applicant for development approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined and investigated
the application, staff and Planning Commission recommendations, and
the attached Development Review Status Sheet dated December 29,
1992; and
6 WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the revised develop-
7 meat order and accompanying documents at a public meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the appli-
cation is in compliance with all elements of the Comprehensive
,p lan, or will be in compliance prior to the issuance of a
1 Certificate of Occupancy for the development that is the subject of
I the application.
!3 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
I4 TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
i5 SECTION 1: That the application for approval of a
i6 revised site plan for Granville, prepared by Knight Witkin &
Associates, revised on December 8, 1992, reflecting increased
:8 density with an additional 64 units, creating eight (8) four-story
t9 buildings and revising the plan for additional required parking
located on the north end of the Kings Point Island, south of
Northwest 80 Street, is HEREBY APPROVED subject to the following
conditions:
A. Construction is to be in complete compliance with
the plans and specifications submitted by the developer to the City
of Tamarac as described in Section II of the Development Review
Status Sheet and approved engineering drawings.

B. Commencement of construction shall be no longer
han one year from the date of this approval. If the development
oes not commence construction within one year, this approval is
null and void unless an extension has been granted in accordance
with applicable regulations.
C. The revised development order is assignable, but an
assignment does not discharge any assignee from strict compliance
with the order unless the City Council consents to modify any of
the original requirements.
D. Additional conditions established in order to issue
the revised development order are set forth as follows:
SECTION 1: That the following documents are hereby
ccepted and approved as a part of this revised development order:
A. Water and Sewer Developers Agreement
SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this
revised development order be declared by a court of competent
jurisdiction to be invalid, the City Council shall determine if the
other portions of the order remain valid or whether the approval
shall be null and void.
SECTION 4: This revised development order as condi-
tioned shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
