R-88- /4 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS DISPLAY, COMPLETE WITH ALL FIREWORKS, EQUIPMENT AND TECHNICIAN, BID NO. #88-17; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on March 12, 1988 and March 19, 1988; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on April 4, 1988; and WHEREAS, Vitale Fireworks Sales Co., Inc. is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the bid of Vitale Fireworks Sales Co., Inc., in the amount of $6,000.00 for the City of Tamarac fourth of July fireworks display, complete with all fireworks, equipment and technician with funds to be taken from Account #001-550-572-481, titled Recreational Activities, Parks and Recreation, is HEREBY APPROVED.
