A RESOLUTION ISSUING REVISED DEVELOP-
3 MENT ORDER NO. 208-1 FOR LAKES OF
CARRIAGE HILLS PLAZA PROJECT PURSUANT
4 TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 7-2
THROUGH 7-11 OF THE TAMARAC CODE; AND
5 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructions of the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, a public meeting has
8 b-een advertised in accordance with applicable law of the
9 date, time and place of the meeting regarding the review of
10 the application for a revised development order by the
11 applicant for development approval; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council has examined and investigated
13 the application, staff and Planning Commission recommenda-
14 tions; and
15 WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the revised develop-
16 ment order dated February 3, 1988, and accompanying documents
17 at a public meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
application is in compliance with all elements of its Compre-
20 hensive Plan, or will be in compliance prior to the issuance
21 of a Certificate of Occupancy for any unit on the development
22 that is the subject of the application.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
24 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
25 SECTION_ 1, That the application for a six (6) month
26 extension of the date of approval of the final site plan,
effective January 27, 1988, is approved subject to the

28 following conditions:
A. Construction is to be in complete compliance with the
29
plans and specifications submitted by the developer to the

City of Tamarac as described in Section II of the Development
Review Status Sheet and approved engineering drawings.

B. Commencement of construction shall be no longer than
33
six (6) months from January 27, 1988. If the development
34
does not commence construction within this time period, this
35
approval is null and void unless an extension has been
granted in accordance with applicable regulations.

C. The revised development order is assignable, but an
assignment does not discharge any assignee from strict
compliance with the order unless the City Council consents to
modify any of the original requirements.
D. Additional conditions established in order to issue
the revised development order are set forth as follows:
SECTION 2-L Should any section or provision of this
revised development order be declared by a court of competent
jurisdiction to be invalid, the City Council shall determine
if the other portions of the order remain valid or whether
the approval shall be null and void.
SECTION_3,_ This revised development order as conditioned
shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
