CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86- 47l
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY MARTIN HEISE FOR NINETY
(90) DEGREE PARKING FOR A PROPOSED AUTO CARE
CENTER ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF COMMERCIAL BOULE-
VARD, APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET FROM PROSPECT
ROAD; PETITION #19-Z-86; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would
exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further
provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public
safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists on lands on the south side of
Commercial Boulevard, approximately 100 feet from Prospect
Road; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Martin Heise,
Petition #19-Z-86.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 11 That the application for ninety (90)- degree
parking for a proposed auto care center on the south side of
Commercial Boulevard, approximately 100 feet from Prospect
Road, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not
be detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare of
the citizens of the City.
