RESOLUTION 140. R-82-6201
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ADVISE THE BROWARD COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER
OF PROPOSED MILLAGE NECESSARY TO FUND THE
TAMARAC FISCAL YEAR 1982/1983 TENTATIVE BUDGET,
OF ROLLED BACK RATE, OF TIME, DATE AND PLACE OF
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSED MILLAGE
RATE AND THE TENTATIVE BUDGET, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is directed to advise the
Broward County Property Appraiser of the Tamarac proposed aggregate
millage rate of 4.3255 per $1,000.00 for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1982 (1982/1983), of its current year aggregate rolled
back rate of 4.3724 per $1,000.00 and that a public hearing to
consider the ,proposed millage rate and the tentative budget will be
held on Wednesday, September 8 , 1982, at 7:00 -P.M., in the City
Council Chambers, 5811 11W 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida. Copies of
the two forms required to be transmitted to the Broward County Proper
Appraiser are attached hereto.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
