RESOLUTION NO. R-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A
20-FOOT WIDE DRAINAGE EASEMENT OFFERED
BY LAKES OF CARRIAGE HILLS, INC., ON A
PORTION OF PARCELS "A" AND "B", "SABAL
PALM VILLAGE OF TAMARAC", ACCORDING TO
THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT
BOOK 79, AT PAGE 42, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND A PORTION
OF TRACTS 11 AND 14, "FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK -
FARMS", ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 4, AT PAGE 31, OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA,
IN SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 49 SOUTH, RANGE 41
EAST; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the 20-foot wide Drainage Easement offered by
Lakes of Carriage Hills, Inc., on a portion of Parcels "A".and "B",
"SABAL PALM VILLAGE OF TAMARAC", according to the plat thereof, as
recorded in Plat Book 79, at Page 42, of the Public Records of Broward
County, Florida, and a portion of Tracts 11 and 14, "FORT LAUDERDALE
TRUCK FARMS", according to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book,
at Page 31, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida, in
Section 12, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, is hereby approved and
accepted. A copy of said Drainage Easement is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed tc
record said document in the Public Records of Broward County, Florida.
SECTION C: This Resolution shall become effective upon its
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 27th day of January, 1982.

EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
THIS EASEMENT is executed this day of , 19 At/
by LAKES OF CARRIAGE HILLS, INC., a Florida c oratio (party of
the first part), to the CITY OF TAMARAC, a mu icipality (party of
the second part).
W I T N E S S E T H:
That the said first party for and in consideration of the sum
of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration
in hand paid by the said second party, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant unto the said party of the
second part an Easement for Drainage Purposes for the flow through
of drainage through those canals located on that certain parcel of
real property located within the city limits of the City of Tamarac,
in Broward County, Florida, more particularly described on Exhibit
A annexed hereto and made a part hereof (the "Easement Property").
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same together with all and singular
the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said second party
forever for said drainage purposes.
The party of the first part reserves all rights not herein
granted pursuant to this Easement -including, but not limited to,
the right of free ingress and egress over and upon the Easement
Property, the right to build roads across the Easement Property,
run utility lines over or under the Easement Property and to grant
further easements under, over and on the Easement Property; pro-
vided that, in no event shall any of the rights herein reserved
impede the Easement herein granted or the exercise of the rights
of use thereunder.
This Easement is granted subject to zoning and/or restrict-
ions imposed by governmental authorities.
The provisions hereof shall be binding upon the parties
hereto and their respective successors and assigns as a covenant
running with and binding upon the Easement Property.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the party of the first part has hereunto
set its hand and seal on the day and year first above written.
