CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. - FW
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS WATER METERS
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has notified the City Council that sixty (60)
2-inch water meters, inventoried to Tamarac Utilities West no longer meet the
criteria for use by the City, and it is recommended these water meters be declared
surplus and offered for sale through a competitive bid process; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept this recommendation and
proceed to dispose of these water meters in accordance!with_the
provisions of the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the sixty (60) 2-inch water meters described in the
Notice of Sale, attached hereto, are declared to be surplus City property and
are authorized to be offered for sale through the solicitation for sealed bids.
SECTION 2: Bid award or awards shall be subject to review and approval
of the City Council.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1982.

CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
Tn CITY OF TAMARAC, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA wishes to offer for sale
SIXTY (60) 2-INCH TRIDENT CREST WATER METERS
The items offered for sale are on an "as is basis" and the City Of
Tamarac makes no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, as to
the operational or physical condition of the items.
The items may be inspected from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday thru
Friday at Tamarac Utilities West, 7801 N.W. 61 Street, Tamarac,
Florida. If further information is required, contact Mr. Robert
Woelke, 726-2300.
Sealed bids must be submitted on or before 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday
May 4, 1982, to the office of the City Clerk, and will be opened
publicly at that time in City Hall.,5811 "Li-W. 88 Ave. Tamarac,Florida 33321
Acceptance of any offer is subject to the approval of the Tamarac
City Council with the City reserving the right to reject any or all
offers.
Award will be made to the highest qualified bidder.
4-l" All items sold are F.O.B. Tamarac. Shipping arrangements can be made
if in the best interest of the City.
