SENIOR AIDES HOST AGENCY AGREEMENT WITH THE
5 SERVICE AGENCY FOR SENIOR CITIZENS OF BROWARD
COUNTY, INC. _

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
8 SECTION 1: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
9 authorized to execute a Senior AIDES Host Agency Agreement with the
10 Service Agency for Senior Citizens of Broward County, Inc., for the
11 period through June 30, 1981.
12 SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

SERVICE AGENCY FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

Senior AIDES Host Agency Agreement
In order to comply with the provisions of the National Council of Senior
AIDES Program Guidelines, this agreement is entered into by the Service
Agency for Senior Citizens
as the Sponsor and
of Broward County, Inc., herein referred to
herein referred to as the Host Agency.
THE SPONSOR AGREES TO:

1. Recruit and enroll Senior AIDES into productive, part-time
community service work through the Host Agency.
2. Maintain administrative and fiscal control over the Senior
AIDES Program.
THE HOST AGENCY AGREES TO:
1. Provide adequate orientation, instruction, training, and
supportive services to its assigned Senior AIDES.
2. Provide adequate supervision to enable the Senior AIDE(s)
to perform as a productive and effective worker.
3. Give first consideration to the Senior AIDES if and when
funds become available for the position in which the Senior
AIDE serves or a position having similar duties and responsi-
bilities.
4. Complete and submit an In -Kind Report on forms.
provided by the Senior AIDES office.
IT IS FURTHER UNDERSTOOD THAT:
1. This agreement expires June 30th of each year and must be
renewed with the beginning of each contract year.
2. This agreement is subject to change by either party with
30 (thirty) days written notice to the other party.
3. Senior AIDE slots are allocated to Host Agencies at the
discretion of the Project Director and are.subject to
reassignment. The allotment is based on community needs
and upon recommendations from the Washington Office of the
National Council of Senior Citizens.
4. Reassignments are based on the following criteria:
a. Emergency need for Senior AIDE in a high
priority area.
b. Host Agency's non-conformance with NCSC

d. Host Agency not happy with Senior AIDE.
