CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-2021 - OA
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
REAPPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PARKS AND
RECREATION BOARD, PLANNING BOARD, AND
PUBLIC ART COMMITTEE TO SERVE A TERM
CONCURRENT WITH THE APPOINTING
COMMISSION MEMBER, OR UNTIL SUCH TIME
AS NEW APPOINTMENTS ARE MADE;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Commissioner Bolton was reelected to the City of Tamarac City
Commission November 3, 2020; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with §2-59(a)(4) of the Tamarac Code, In the
event that the Mayor or a member of the City Commission is reelected, all advisory
board and committee members appointed by said Mayor/Commissioner shall need
to be reappointed upon reelection in order to continue their term. The newly re-
elected mayor/commissioner shall have the option of appointing different advisory
board and committee members at the commencement of their new term; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to reappoint
one (1) member to the Parks and Recreation Board, one (1) member to the
Planning Board, and one (1) member to the Public Art Committee.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA THAT:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution. All exhibits attached hereto are incorporated herein and made a
specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the following individuals are hereby appointed to serve
as members of the Parks and Recreation Board, Planning Board and Public Art
Committee, concurrent with appointing commissioner member, or until such time
as new appointments are made.

SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
or applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
