Discussion by the Commission ensued with a report that many residents were confused and
disappointed about where/when to receive the vaccine, trying to confirm an appointment •
through the state's unstable website, and Kings Point being a site designated by the state for
only its residents.
The Commission asked if there was anything the City could do to co-op or partner with the City
of Coral Springs, purchase vaccines or set up a site in the City of Tamarac, and to communicate
with residents about the roll out.
Cernech stated the information about the vaccine roll-out is very fluid, and he would look into
how to best proceed with disseminating the most recent information available to the residents.
Mayor Gomez adjourned the meeting at 12:32 p.m.
Minutes transcribed and submitted by City Clerk Jennifer Johnson.
