A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, acc epting a grant award in the
amount up to $12,188.00 from the Broward C ounty Tree Preservation Trust Fund; authorizing the
appropriate City Officials to execute an agreement and nec essary documents between the City of
Tamarac and Broward C ounty for the Tree Preservation Grant funds; authorizing budget
amendments as needed for proper acc ounting purposes; providing for c onflicts; providing for

I nc., as a Sole Source Provider for pumps and appurtenances utilized at sixty-four (64) City
wastewater pump stations, and to authorize expenditures for the purchase of pumps and
appurtenances from Hydra Service, I nc., for an amount not to exceed $95,000 for Fiscal Year 2020;

of Tamarac for Grant Funds to Finance Park Improvements at the Swim Central Annex
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving an agreement
between Broward County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Tamarac, Florida, and
authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute the agreement for grant funding in the amount
up to but not exceeding, $29,325 from the Park Bond Program; amending the annual grants fund
budget of estimated revenues and expenditures in the amount of $29,325; providing for conflicts;
providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

Temporary Ban on Sales of Vaping Products and to increase the Minimum Vaping Age from
18 to 21
A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac , Florida, urging the Governor and
members of the legislature to enac t a temporary ban on sales of vaping products, to inc rease the
minimum legal age to purchase vaping produc ts from 18 to 21, and to dec lare a public health
emergency in the State of Florida related to the use of vaping produc ts; directing the city clerk to
transmit a copy of this resolution to the governor, the members of the legislature and the Broward
League of Cities; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding RF P 19-20R to
J ohnson Controls Security Solutions L L C.; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute
associated contract documents for the Citywide Security Systems Upgrade (Phase 1) in the lump
sum amount of $833,814.52, a contingency of $83,382 (10%), will be added to the project account
for a total project budget of $917,197; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to make
changes and issue change orders in accordance with the thresholds and provisions delineated in
Section 6-147(j)(2) of the Tamarac Procurement Code; providing for conflicts; providing for

Districts” by specifically amending Section 10-2.7(C), entitled “W oodlands Overlay District”, to
sunset and terminate the Woodlands Overlay District two years after the effective date of the City of
Tamarac Land Development Code, in conformity with the City of Tamarac Comprehensive Plan;

Ordinance 2019-04, which amended the City of Tamarac Operating Budget, Revenues and
Expenditures, the Capital Budget, and the Financ ial Policies for the Fisc al Year 2019, by increasing
the total revenues and expenditures by a total of $409,854, as detailed in Attachment A attached
