TR13401 - A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving the City of
Tamarac 2020 Federal Legislative Agenda; directing the City Clerk to transmit a copy of the City of
Tamarac 2020 Federal Legislative Agenda to the National League of Cities, the U.S. Senators from
Florida, Florida Congressional Delegation and the Broward County Board of County Commissioners;
providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. Presented

4. TR13397 - Sunset Point Park / Veteran's Park Improvements
TR13397 - A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding RFQ No.
19-26Q to and approving an Agreement with CPZ Architects, Inc. For the Design of Sunset Point
and Veterans Park Renovations at a contract cost of $258,705.00, a contingency in the amount of
$25,870.50 (10% of the contract cost) will be added to the project account, for a total project budget
of $284,575.50; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

TR13403 - A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, authorizing the City
Manager to take all necessary action to participate in the tax deed auction for the property located at
4959 N. State Road 7 for a total purchase price not to exceed One Million Four Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($1,400,000.00); providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an

g, TR13400 - Grant Award - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida accepting a Hazard Mitigation
Grant Program (HMGP) award from the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM)
through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the City of Tamarac Lift Station
Generator Project in the amount of $431,668.50; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute
a grant agreement and necessary documents pending legal review between FDEM and the City of
Tamarac for HMGP grant funding in the amount of $431,668.50; providing for up to a 25% match in
local funds in an amount not to exceed $143,889.50; providing for conflicts; providing for severability;

TO2424 - An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, amending
Chapter 6 of the City's Code of Ordinances entitled "Finance and Taxation", specifically
amending Article V Entitles "Tamarac Procurement Code" by updating and modernizing
existing procurement means and methods; creating a veterans preference; providing for
codification; providing for Conflicts; providing for severability; providing for an effective date.

Discussion - Earth Day 2020 Event
The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. In the event this
agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting.
