A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, to approve and accept a
donation to the Tamarac Fire Department from City Furniture of mattresses and bed foundations at a
retail value of $11,893.55; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to accept the donation; providing
for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

Committee
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, appointing one locally elected
official to the City’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (A HA C) as required by House Bill
1339, Section 420.9076 (2) Florida Statutes and City Ordinance No. 2008-04; providing for the
expiration of terms of office; directing city staff to take any and all action necessary to effectuate the
intent of this resolution; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an

Landscaping Improvements
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving Task Authorization
No. 20-20D and authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute Task Authorization No. 20-20D
with Miller Legg to provide professional landscape architectural design and construction
administration related services, attached hereto as Exhibit “1”, for the Commercial Boulevard
Median I mprovements project in joint participation with the City of Sunrise, Florida in accordance
with the City's consulting engineering agreement as authorized by Resolution No. R-2016-80, for an
amount not to exceed $121,200.00; authorizing the execution of a joint participation and associated
maintenance agreements between the City of Tamarac and The City of Sunrise, in furtherance of
the scope of the professional services, hereto attached as Exhibit “2”; providing for conflicts;
providing for severability; and providing for an effective date

S ervices between the City of Tamarac and The S heriff of Broward County (BS O) effec ve October 1, 2020
through S eptember 30, 2025 with one five (5) year renewal op on; authorizing the appropriate city
officials to execute the A greement for Police S ervices; providing for conflicts; providing for severability;
and providing for an effec ve date.

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving a Broward Sheriff’s
Office permit application for special details and authorizing the appropriate City official to execute a
the permit application for police services to be used by the Parks and Recreation Department in an
amount not to exceed $76,000 in F Y21, October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021; approving funding
from the appropriate Parks and Recreation accounts; providing for conflicts; providing for
severability; and providing for an effective date.
c.T R13492 - FP E Union Contract Renewal
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving a Memorandum of
Understanding with the Federation of Public Employees, a division of the National Federation of
Public and Private Employees (FP E) affiliated with District 1-ME B A (A F L-C I O) to extend the terms
and conditions of employment in the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of
Tamarac and the FP E for the period from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021; authorizing
the appropriate City officials to execute the Memorandum of Understanding; providing for conflicts;
providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
d.T R13501 - Agreements for Quicklime 2020
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida authorizing the appropriate City
Officials to award Bid #20-21B, "Furnish, Deliver and Discharge of Quicklime" to, and execute
agreements with Lhoist North America of Alabama, L L C for the City of Tamarac and an additional
twenty-three members of the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative (C O-OP);
and with Carmeuse Lime and Stone on behalf of the C O-OP member, The City of Hollywood, for a
period of three (3) years with three (3) additional one-year renewal options, providing for conflicts;
providing for severability and providing for an effective date.

County for a Subrecipient Grant Agreement with Department of the Treasury for
Coronavirus relief Funding

f.T R13505 - R F P20-09Q Agreement for the Eastside Parks Feasibility Study
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding RF P 20-09Q and
execute an agreement with Miller Legg for the Eastside Parks Feasibility Study for an amount not to
exceed $193,500, a contingency amount of $6,500 will be added to the project for a total project
budget of $200,000; approving all necessary budget transfers; providing for conflicts; providing for
severability; and providing for an effective date.

The City C ommission may consider and ac t upon suc h other business as may c ome before it. I n the event this
agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting.
