HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-11-22 - City Commission Special Meeting MinutesCity of Tamarac Special City Commission Meeting - Minutes Monday, November 22, 2021 CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Gomez called the Monday, November 22, 2021, Special City Commission Meeting, being held in Commission Chamber to order at 6:01 p.m. ROLL CALL: Commissioner Mike Gelin, Commission Debra Placko and Mayor Michelle J. Gomez were present. Commissioner Marlon Bolton and Vice Mayor Elvin Villalobos were absent. Also present were Interim City Manager Kathleen Gunn, City Attorney John R. Herin, Jr., Special Counsel for the City, R. Max Lohman, Esq., and Assistant City Clerk Kimberly Dillon. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner Gelin led the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. Special Counsel will be discussing a request to calla "Shade Session" regarding 13th Floor Woodlands HB GP, LLC vs. City of Tamarac. Special Counsel for the City, R. Max Lohman requested to call a "Shade Session" regarding 13th Floor Woodlands HB GP, LLC vs. City of Tamarac, Florida: CACE-21-019013. Commissioner Gelin motioned to set the meeting date and time for the "Shade Session" on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Commissioner Placko seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously 3-0. There being nothing further to discuss, Mayor Gomez adjourned the meeting at 6:08 p.m. Minutes transcribed and submitted by Assistant City Clerk Kimberly Dillon.
