Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. W hen an issue has been
designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has
been properly noticed for that matter.
Members of the public wishing to provide c omments to the members of the C ity Commission on any matter,
including items on the agenda, may submit their c omments by email to City Clerk@Tamarac.org. All
comments submitted by email shall be made part of the public record. The City has authority under the City
Code to regulate the manner in which public comments are made during any public meetings. Please be
advised, the City will not read publicly any emails.

entertain motions from the C ommission members to table those items that require research. The C ommission may
agendize by majority c onsent matters of an urgent nature whic h have c ome to the C ommission's attention after

b.T R13709 - Purchase Agreement for Geo Thermal Pool Heaters and Lake Pump with
Symbiont Service Corporation
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, authorizing the appropriate
City Officials to approve the purchase agreement with Symbiont Service Corporation for the
purchase and installation of pool heaters and lake pump, at a cost not to exceed $98,983; approving
funding from the appropriate parks and recreation account; providing for conflicts; providing for
severability; and providing for an effective date
c.T R13752 - Appointing a 5th Member Trustee to the Police Pension Board
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, appointing Phil Forsberg as
the 5th Member Trustee to the Police Pension Board to serve a four-year term ending March 9,
2026, or until such time new appointments are made; providing for conflicts; providing for
severability; and providing for an effective date.

a.TO2493 - Lifting Zoning in Progress by adopting changes to Chapters 2 and 10 of the Land
Development Code
An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida; lifting Zoning in Progress by
amending Chapter 2 of the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances, entitled "Administration", by
amending Article x, entitled "Quasi-J udicial Proceedings"; by specifically amending Section 2-369
entitled “Quasi-J udicial Matters” of the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances to delete site-specific
land use plan amendments from the list of designated quasi-judicial matters and amending Chapter
10 of the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances, entitled “Land Development Code”, by amending
Article 5, entitled “Administration”, amending Section 10-5.2, entitled “Summary Table of
Development Review Procedures”, by specifically amending Table 10-5.1, entitled “Summary of
Development Review Procedures” changing the required public hearing format for site-specific
comprehensive plan amendment applications from quasi-judicial public hearing to standard public
hearing , and amending Section 10-5.4, entitled “Application-Specific Review Procedures” by
deleting the requirement for the Planning Board and the City Commission to hold a quasi-judicial
hearing for Site-Specific Land Use Plan Amendment applications, to ensure consistent application
of the code in accordance with the applicable Florida Supreme Court ruling; providing for
codification; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

b.TO2494 - Amending Section 10-5.3(J)(5)(b)(ii) to change the word “two-thirds” to “majority”
An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida; amending Chapter 10 of the
City of Tamarac code of ordinances, entitled "Land Development Code", amending Article 5, entitled
“Administration” by amending Section 10-5.3, entitled "Common Review Procedures"; by
specifically amending section 10-5.3(j)(5)(b)(ii) replacing the term “two-thirds” with “majority” of the
decision-making body permitted to grant a waiver of the one year time limitation required for the
resubmittal of a similar or same land development application after being previously denied; providing
for codification; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
