PURPOSE
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Commission Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 5 p.m. in
Conference Room 105, City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida, 33321, for the purpose of
discussing Labor Relations.
CLOSED SESSION
The Special Meeting of the City Commission will be closed to the public for this session. Under
provisions of the Florida Statutes, Section 447.605(1) F.S. all discussions between the chief
executive office of the public employer, his or her representative, and the legislative body of the
public employer relative to collective bargaining shall be closed and exempt from the provisions of
F.S. 286.011. The meeting will be attended by Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, Vice Mayor Mike Gelin,
Commissioner Marlon Bolton, Commissioner Elvin Villalobos, Commissioner Debra Placko, City
Manager Kathleen Gunn, City Attorney John Herin, Jr., Interim Assistant City Manager Levent
Sucuoglu, Director of Human Resources Lerenzo Calhoun, Director of Financial Services Christine
Cajuste, Fire Chief Michael Annese, and Special Counsel Robert Soloff, Esq.
ADJOURNMENT
The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. In the
event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City
Commission meeting.
Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by
the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he may
need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the
testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
