HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-04-06 - City Commission Special Meeting MinutesEXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6, 2022 5.00 PM CONFERENCE ROOM 105 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gomez called the Wednesday, April 6, 2022,"Executive Session", being held at City Hall in Conference Room 105, to order at 5.01 p.m. ROLL CALL Commissioner Marlon Bolton, Commissioner Debra Placko and Mayor Michelle J. Gomez were present. Vice Mayor Mike Gelin arrived at 5:03 p.m., and Commissioner Elvin Villalobos arrived after roll call. City Manager Kathleen Gunn, City Attorney John Herin and City Clerk Jennifer Johnson were also present. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Michelle J. Gomez led the Pledge of Allegiance. PURPOSE City Attorney John Herin stated the purpose of meeting was to discuss labor relations, and in accordance with F.S. 447.605(1), only the following individuals were permitted to attend. Gomez Vice Mayor Mike Gelin Commissioner Marlon Bolton Commissioner Elvin Villalobos Commissioner Debra Placko City Manager Kathleen Gunn City Attorney John Herin Director of Human Resources Lerenzo Calhoun Director of Financial Services Christine Cajuste Fire Chief Michael Annese Special Counsel for the City Robert Soloff, Esq. City Attorney John Herin closed the public session, and City Clerk Jennifer Johnson departed the meeting. CLOSED SESSION The Closed Session ensued. ADJOURNMENT The closed session concluded, and City Clerk Jennifer Johnson rejoined the meeting. Mayor Michelle J.
