CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Gomez called the Thursday, June 16, 2022,"Executive Session", being held in Tamarac BSO
Training Room, to order at 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL
Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, Commissioner Marlon Bolton, Commissioner Elvin Villalobos, and
Commissioner Debra Placko were present. Vice Mayor Mike Gelin arrived at 9:01 a.m., after roll call.
City Manager Kathleen Gunn, Special Counsel Max Lohman and Acting City Clerk Kimberly Dillon
were also present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Michelle J. Gomez led the Pledge of Allegiance.
PURPOSE
Special Counsel Max Lohman stated that the Executive Session is for the City Commission to discuss
settlement negotiations or strategy in the following case:
District Court Of Appeal Of The State Of Florida, Fourth District
City of Tamarac, Florida, (Appellant/Plaintiff) v 13th Floor Woodlands HB GP, LLC,
(Appellee/Defendant): No. 4D21-3489; Case No. 21-019013 CACE (12),
and to take such action as they deem necessary in accordance with Florida law. A verbatim record of
the Executive Session will be made part of the public record upon conclusion of the litigation.

Special Counsel Max Lohman closed the public session, and Acting City Clerk Kimberly Dillon
departed the meeting.
CLOSED SESSION
The Closed Session ensued.
ADJOURNMENT
The closed session concluded, and Acting City Clerk Kimberly Dillon rejoined the meeting. Mayor
Michelle J. Gomez adjourned the meeting at 9:54 a.m.
