CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Gomez called the Monday, October 17, 2022,"Executive Session", being held in Conference
105, to order at 9:30 a.m.
ROLL CALL
Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, Commissioner Debra Placko, Commissioner Marlon Bolton and
Commissioner Elvin Villalobos was in attendance. Vice Mayor Mike Gelin was not in attendance.
City Manager Kathleen Gunn, Special Outside Counsel, Edward Pozzuoli and Shari L. McCartney,
Court Recorder from Bailey Entin Reporting and City Clerk Kimberly Dillon were also present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Michelle J. Gomez led the Pledge of Allegiance.
PURPOSE
Mayor Gomez stated that the Executive Session is an attorney -client session in accordance with
Section 286.011(8), Florida Statute regarding the following lawsuit styled:
13th Floor Woodlands HB GP, LLC vs. City of Tamarac, Florida, CACE-21-019013,
In addition, to a certified court reporter designated by Bailey Entin Reporting, also present at the
session was Special Counsel, Edward Pozzuoli, and Shari L. McCartney; Kathleen Gunn, City
Manager; Michelle J. Gomez, Mayor; Marlon D. Bolton, Commissioner; Elvin Villalobos,
Commissioner and Debra Placko, Commissioner.
Mayor Gomez closed the public session, and City Clerk Kimberly Dillon departed the meeting.
CLOSED SESSION
The Closed Session ensued.
ADJOURNMENT
The closed session concluded, and City Clerk Kimberly Dillon rejoined the meeting. Mayor Michelle
J. Gomez adjourned the meeting at 10:12 a.m.
