CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-2023 - I So9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING
SEVEN (7) MEMBERS TO THE PRIVATIZATION
COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing seven members
to the City of Tamarac's Privatization Committee ; and
WHEREAS, members of the Privatization Committee shall serve terms in
accordance with the terms and provisions of §2- 234.22 and of the City's Code of
Ordinances ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with §2-57 and §2-58 of the Tamarac Code, the
City Commission shall appoint qualified individuals to the respective positions ; and
WHEREAS, the Privatization Committee shall be authorized to research
and report to the City Commission on matters related to privatization of city
services and may perform such other duties as may be prescribed by resolution
by the city commission in accordance with §2- 234.23 of the Tamarac Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to appoint
seven members to the Privatization Committee in accordance with the procedures
provided for in §2-58 and §2-59 of the Tamarac Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA THAT:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution. All exhibits attached hereto are incorporated herein and made a
specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: The following individuals are hereby appointed to serve a one-
year term as members of the Privatization Committee.

SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
or applications of this Resolution.

SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
