CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Gomez called the Monday, November 6, 2023, "Executive Session", being held in
Conference 105, to order at 2:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, Vice Mayor Marlon Bolton, Commissioner Morey Wright Jr.,
Commissioner Elvin Villalobos, and Commissioner Kicia Daniel were present.
City Manager Levent Sucuoglu, Hans Ottinot, City Attorney for the City of Tamarac, Chris Stearns,
Esq. special outside counsel, and City Clerk Kimberly Dillon were also present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Vice Mayor Bolton led the Pledge of Allegiance.
PURPOSE
Mayor Gomez stated that the Executive Session is for the City Commission to discuss pending
litigation of the following case:
Woodmont Country Club, Inc. v. The City of Tamarac; CACE20014133,
and to take such action as they deem necessary in accordance with Florida Law. A verbatim record of
the Executive Session will be made part of the public record upon the conclusion of the litigation.
In addition, to a certified court reporter designated by Esquire Deposition Solutions, also present at the
session was Hans Ottinot, Attorney for the City of Tamarac, Chris Stearns, Esq. special outside counsel;
Levent Sucuoglu, City Manager; Michelle J. Gomez, Mayor; Marlon Bolton, Vice Mayor;
Commissioner Morey Wright, Jr.; Commissioner Elvin Villalobos; and Commissioner Kicia Daniel.
Mayor Gomez closed the public session, and City Clerk Kimberly Dillon departed the meeting.
CLOSED SESSION
The Closed Session ensued.
ADJOURNMENT
The closed session concluded, and Mayor Michelle J. Gomez adjourned the meeting at 2,570 V%A .
