AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC TO ;ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS CONTIGUOUS TO
THE PRESENT BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tracts of land are
contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, said tracts of land contain less than (10) ten
registered voters, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said tracts of land has petitioned
the City of Tamarac to integrate said lands into said City, and
lands.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex said
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL of the
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: The Council hereby declares its intention to
annex to the City upon the expiration of thirty (30) days from the
approval of this Ordinance the following described,lands:
All of Tracts 5 and 12 of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS
SUBDIVISION of Section 3, Township 49 South, Range 41
Bast; as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public
Records of Broward County, Florida, Less the Notth 2590
feet thereof, as measured along the West line of said
Section 3 of that portion lying within the West 353 feet
of said Section 3.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall not be effective
until the City Engineer confirms in writing to the City Clerk
that the aforedescribed lands are contiguous to the present
boundaries of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: That the Petitioner forementioned, shall
provide to the City the necessary funds for the required publication
of this Ordinance prior to its final approval.
