CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE # 711I
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CORRECTING PRIOR ZONING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE RE -ZONING AND COR-
RECTION OF ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM THE
NON-EXISTENT CLASSIFICATION DESIGNATED AS R-3 TO
R-2; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given
in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of
public hearing regarding the zoning of the property described
herein, and the said public hearing has been held in accordance
with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity
to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and in-
vestigated the request for the zoning herein and has received
the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Hoard of the City
of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held by the City Council
pursuant to the Charter, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has recommended
to the City Council that said zoning changes be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1:
That those lands as shown on those certain legal
descriptions attached hereto and made a part hereof, identified
as Exhibits A, B, C, and D, are hereby re -zoned or correctively
zoned from the non-existent classification of R-3 to R-2 class-
ification.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning,said
change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk -Manager,
together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4:
Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion hereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
