ORDINANCE NO. --I
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71-18
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC BY PROVIDING AN AL-
TERNATIVE METHOD OF OBTAINING RELIEF FROM
THE PROVISIONS THEREOF; ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL
CRITERIA FOR THE GRANTING OF SUCH RELIEF;
REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT; AND, PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 4 of Ordinance No. 71-18 of the
City of Tamarac is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: Ordinance No. 71-18 of the City of Tamarac
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following paragraph:
SECTION 4: Upon the showing of a special
hardship the City Council or the Board of Adjustment
of the City of Tamarac upon written application made
may grant an exception to the prohibition imposed by
this ordinance if the said Council, or Board, shall
determine that said special exception shall not be
harmful to the peace, property, health or safety of
other property or inhabitants in the community and
the application for the building permit otherwise
complies with the requirements of the ordinances of
the City, its chaster and the laws of Florida.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage,
