CITY OF TAMARAC$ FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71-23
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC BY INCREASING MAX-
IMUM FINE AND PENALTY; REPEALING ALL LAWS
IN CONFLICT; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC)
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 71-23 of the City of
Tamarac be and the same is hereby amended by amending
Section 5 thereof to read as follows:
"SECTION 5: It shall be the duty of the
engineering deTartment strictly to enforce all of
this chapter. The general agent, architect, builder,
contractor, owner or tenant, or any other person who
commits, takes part in or assists in any violation of
this chapter, or who maintains any premises in which
any violation of this chapter shall exist, shall for
each and every violation, upon conviction, be punished
by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)
or by imprisonment not exceeding sixty (60) days, or
by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion
of the municipal judge. Each day a violation is permit-
ted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.'
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become effective im-
inediately upon its final passage.
