CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. (�,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 70-8 OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC BY PROVIDING AN EXCEPTION FOR CONSTRUCTION
TRAILERS; PROVIDING A METHOD FOR OBTAINING PERMITS;
REQUIRING AN APPLICATION FEE; PROVIDING A 'SAVINGS
CLAUSE; REPEALING LAWS IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City of Tamarac,
Florida:
SECTION 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 70--8 of the City
of Tamarac be amended by adding thereto the following:
(c) That where a builder holding a valid, active building
permit desires to place a mobile vehicle or trailer upon the
premises as a temporary construction office, he may apply for a
six months' permit for such vehicle, upon payment of a fee of
$ 50.00 (Fifty dollars) and certification of the safety
thereof by the Chief Building Inspector, and providing that such
vehicle is licensed by the State of Florida. Such vehicle shall
be kept on wheels and shall be promptly removed upon completion of
building operations, or upon any cessation thereof for a period
of more than 30 days. The Chief Building Inspector may enter such
orders as he deems advisable with respect to the anchoring of the
vehicle due to wind or storm conditions, and with respect to
sanitary facilities. Any person aggreived by such order may
appeal the same to the Board of Adjustment.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, word or sentence be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof,
other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall became effective immediately
upon its final passage.
