ORDINANCE NO.'
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN IAND.S CONTIGUOUS TO THE
PRESENT BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC; SUBJECT TO
RATIFICATION BY THE REGISTERED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC AND BY THE REGISTERED ELECTpRS OF THE TERRITORY
TO BE ANNEXED; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE
OFFICIAL CITY MAP TO REFLECT THE CHANCES IN THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES; 'AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the .lands described herein are contiguous to the
present boundaries of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of the City Charter provides a method for
annexation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interest of the
City of Tamarac to integrate said lands into said City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City
of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1; That the lands described in the exhibit attached
hereto prepared by the City Engineer and marked Parcel AP-6 shall
be annexed into and form a part of the City of Tamarac upon the
ratification thereof by referendum votes as set forth in Section 2
hereof.
SECTION 2; That within months frcm date hereof the City
Council shall, by Resolution suhmit to a separate vote of the
registered electors of the City of Tamarac and of the territory to
be annexed, the approval of the said annexation. Said territory
shall not be annexed unless such annexation is approved by a majority
of the registered electors actually voting in such election in said
territory and the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: The form of ballot and voting places shall be
established in the Resolution calling the elections.

SECTION 4_ All such elections shall be held under the supervision
of the Election Board of the City of Tamarac.

SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
SECTION 6; That upon the ratification of the annexation in
the referendum elections described above, the said territory shall forth-
with be and become a part of the City of Tamarac and the City
Engineer shall within thirty (30) days thereafter alter and amend
the official City Map to show the inclusion of said territory within
the municipal boundaries.

BEGINNING at the intersection of the South right-of-way line of Prospect
Field Road and the East boundary of the Southeast One -Quarter (SE4) of
Section 17,' Township 49 South, Range 42 East;
THENCE Southerly along the East boundary to the Southeast corner of said
Section 17;
THENCE Westerly to the Southwest corner of said Section 17, being also the
Southeast corner of Section 18, Township 49 South, Range 42 East;
THENCE Westerly along the South boundary of said Section 18 and its Westerly
prolongation to the West right-of-way line of State Road #7(U.S.#441);
THENCE Northerly along the said West right-of-way line, being parallel with
and 100 Ft. West of the East boundary of Section 13, Township 49 South,
Range 41 East, to a point of intersection with a Westerly prolongation of a
line 1011 Ft. South of and parallel with the North boundary of the Southwest
One -Quarter (SW4) of Section 18, Township 49 South, Range.42 East;
THENCE Easterly along the said line 1011 Ft. South of and parallel with the
North boundary of the Southwest One -Quarter (SW4) of Section 18 to a point
on a line 861.25 Ft. West of and parallel with the East boundary of the South-
west One -Quarter (SWN) of said Section 18;
THENCE Northerly parallel with and 861.25 Ft. West of the East boundary of
the said Southwest One -Quarter (SW�) to the South right-of-way line of
N. W. 50th Street;
THENCE Easterly along the said South right-of-way line, said right-of-way
line being parallel with and 555 Ft. South of the North boundary of the South
One -Half (SZ) of said Section 18, to the West boundary of the East One -Half
(Ez) of the Northeast One -Quarter (NE4) of the Southeast One -Quarter (SEA) of
said Section 18;
THENCE Southerly to the Southwest corner of the said East One -Half (E2) of the
