AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS CONTIGUOUS TO THE
PRESENT BOUNDARIES OF `= CITY OF TAMARAC; SUBJECT TO
RATIFICATION BY THE REGISTERED ELECTORS OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC AND BY THE REGISTERED ELECTORS OF THE TERRITORY
TO BE ANNEXED; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE
OFFICIAL CITY' MAP TO REFLECT THE CHANGES IN THE
MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the lands described herein are contiguous to the
present boundaries of the City of Tamarac, and
JqH�S, Section 5 of the City Charter provides a method for
annexation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interest of the
City of Tamarac to integrate said lands into said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of the City
of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the lands described in the exhibit attached
hereto prepared by the City Engineer and marked Parcel AP-9 shall
be annexed into and form a part of the City of Tamarac upon the
ratification thereof by referendum votes as set forth in Section 2
hereof.
SECTION 2: That within months from date hereof the City
Council shall, by Resolution sufmit to a separate note of the
registered electors of the City of Tamarac and of the territory to
be annexed, the approval of the said annexation. Said territory
shall not be annexed unless such annexation is approved by a majority
of the registered electors actually voting in such election in said
territory and the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: The form of ballot and voting places shall be
established in the Resolution calling the elections.
SECTION 4; All such elections shall be held under the supervision
of the Election Board of the City of Tamarac.

SECTION 5: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
SECTION 6: That upon the ratification of the annexation in
the referendum elections described above, the said territory shall forth-
with be and become a part of the City of Tamarac and the City
Engineer shall within thirty (30) days thereafter alter and amend
the official City Map to show the inclusion of said territory within
the municipal boundaries.

Sections 4 and 5. Township 49 South, Range 41 East, described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Southeast corner of Section 5, Township 49 South, Range 41
East;
THENCE N.0010'05"W. along the East line of said Section 5 a distance of 100 Ft.
to a point of curve;
THENCE Northwesterly along a curve,to the left, having a radius of 2400 Ft. for
an arc distance of 1780.24 Ft. to a point of tangency;

said point being 840 Ft. from the last described point of tangency;
THENCE Northerly along the arc of a curve,to the right, having a radius of
2053 Ft. for an arc distance of 3310.98 Ft, to,a point of tangency;
THENCE N.49°44'09"E., 523.89 Ft. to a point of curvature;
THENCE Northeasterly along the arc of a curve, to the left, having a radius of
