CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. a
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 72-6 OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC BY INCREASING THE MINIMUM PLOT
SIZE IN B-2A DISTRICTS TO TEN ACRES; EXCEPTING
ANY PROPERTY PRESENTLY ZONED FOR SUCH USES;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND, CONTAINING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That ARTICLE XII of Ordinance No. 72-6 of the
City of Tamarac, Florida, be amended so that Section 12.7 thereof
shall read as follows:
"Section 12.7 PLOT SIZE
Every plot shall be not less than ten acres in
area. Except that any parcel zoned B-2A on the effective date
of this amendment may have a minimum area of one acre."
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, word or sentence be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof,
other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
