CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. r p�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71-22 OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC BY INCREASING THE MINIMUM SIZE
OF STREET RIGHTS -,OF -WAY IN SINGLE OR DUPLEX
DWELLING AREAS TO 50 FEET; PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE; AND, CONTAINING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That sub -section 13A of Section 4 A of the platting
regulations adopted by Ordinance 71-22 of the City of Tamarac
be amended to read as follows:
"13. STREET RIGHTS -OF -WAX
a. Unless otherwise indicated or required by the
Trafficways Plan, or specifically excepted by the Zoning Commission
street rights -of -way shall not be less than the following:
STREET TYPE RIGHTS -OF -WAY --FEET
Freeway 300
Expressway 200
Primary Arterial Highway 120
Major Thoroughfare 106*
Secondary Thoroughfare 80
Collector 60
Minor, for multiple residential,
business, or industrial areas 50
Minor, for single or duplex
dwelling areas 50
Marginal Access 20
*Except tra£ficway previously established at 100 feet width of
right-of-way as shown in the Zoning Regulations of the CITY OF
TAMARAC '
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, word or sentence be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof
as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be
invalid.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This, Ordinance shall become effective immediately
- upon its final passage.
