ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 72-19 OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC BY DELETING PARCEL AP-1A FROM THE
LANDS TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF TAMARAC; CAN-
CELLING THE REFERENDUM ELECTION WITH REFERENCE TO
SUCH PARCEL;_ AND; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 72-1.9 of the City of Tamarac annexed
three described parcels of land to the City of Tamarac including
parcel AP-lA, subject to referendum election, and
WIEREAS, it appears that during the time that such Ordinance
was under consideration a portion of thelands described in such.
Ordinance as Parcel AP-lA, was annexed into the City of Sunrise

by virtue of statutory authority upon petition of the property owners,

WHEREAS, it is the judgment of the City Council that such

annexation by the City of Sunrise would have a negative effect on
the proposal to annex said Parcel AP-1A into the City of Tamarac,CAJ

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City
of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION l: That Ordinance No. 72-19 of the City of Tamarac
be amended by deleting therefrom the proposal to annex into the
City of Tamarac the lands described therein as Parcel AP-JA, such
lands being legally described in the Exhibit attached hereto and
marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION'2: That the referendum election heretofore scheduled
for such Parcel AP-1A be and the same is hereby cancelled and the
Election Board is directed to delete questions relating to such
Parcel from the ballots.

SECTION 3: That in all other respects Ordinance No. 72-19
shall remain in full force and effect.
