AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71-16 PROVIDING A SCHEDULE OF BUILDING PERMIT FEES; INCREASING CERTAIN FEES; ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL CATEGORIES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 71-16 of the City of Tamarac, Florida, be and it is expressly hereby repealed, as of the effective date of this ordinance. SECTION 2: That the Building Department of the City of Tamarac be and it is hereby instructed to collect the following fees established for the obtaining of certain structural, plumbing, electrical, zoning and various other permits required to be issued prior to initiation of construction, development or other improvements; said fee schedule attached hereto and made a part hereof as if set forth in full herein and identified as Exhibit "A". SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
