AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
PRIOR ZONING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING
FOR THE RE-
ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM
R-1 TO R-IB PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT
OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING
MAP TO REFLECT
ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in
accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public
hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein, and
the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice
and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been
heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request
for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the
Zoning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the public hearing has been held on the proposed
change in zoning initiated by the Zoning Commission of the City of
Tamarac by the City Council pursuant to the Charter, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission has recommended to the City
Council that the said zoning changes be approved after public hear-
ing thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described as follows are hereby
rezoned from R-1 classification to R-lB classification:
WOODLANDS ONE, PHASE ONE, Plat Book 66, Page 22
WOODLANDS ONE, PHASE TWO, Plat Book 671, Page 23
WOODLANDS TWO, PHASE ONE, Plat Book 66, Page 23
WOODLANDS THREE, Plat Book 66, Page 24
WOODLANDS FOUR, Plat Book 66, Page 25
WOODLANDS FIVE, Plat Book 67, Page 43
WOODLANDS SIX, Plat Book 67, Page 40
WOODLANDS SEVEN, Plat Book 67, Page 41
WOODLANDS EIGHT, Plat Book 67, Page 42
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said
change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together
with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immed-
iately upon its final passage.
