CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. •-
AN ORDINANCE' AMENDING PRIOR ZONING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE RE-
ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM
B-1 to B-2; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT
OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT
SUCH CHANGE: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has
beengxven in accordance with the applicable law of the
time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of
the property described herein, and the said public hearing
has been held in accordance with the notice and the public
has been given an opportunity to be, and has been, heard;
and the Council has examined and investigated the request
for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation
of the Zoning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition
No. 4-Z-74 by the City Council pursuant to the Charter, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission has recommended
to the City Council that said zoning change be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned
from B-1 classification to B-2 classification, subject to
site plan approval.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning,
said change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk,
together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED OF A PUBLIC HEARING before the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, on the 24th of
April, 1974, at 11:30 A.M., in the City Hall Annex, 5200
Rock Island Road, Tamarac, Florida, to consider an application
to rezone the following described land from B--1=to B-2.

Description:
A parcel of land lying in Tract 14 of the Fort Lauderdale Truck
Farms Subdivision of Section 10, Township 49 South, Range 41 East
Broward County, Florida, being more particularly eescribed as follows:
Commence at the Southeast corner of said Section 10; thence
N 000 00' 16" W, along the East line of said Section 10, a
distance of 53.01 feet; thence N 89001123" Wj parallel with and
53.0 feet North of, as measured at right angles to the South line
of said Section 10, a distance of 3000.0 feet to the Point of
Beginning of this description; thence continue N 89001.'23" W,
along the last described course, a distance of 735.0 feet; thence
N 00 00'16" W, a distance of 300.0 feet; thence S 8900112311 E,
a distance of 735.0 feet; thence S 00000116"E,a distance of 300.0
_feet to the Point of Beginning. Said lands situate, lying and
being in Broward,County, Florida.
