ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION
OF A SALARY AND WAGE CONTROL BOARD AND
OUTLINING THE DUTIES OF SUCH BOARD.
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of creating
a Salary and Wage Control Board to act as an Advisory Board
to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the City Council hereby authorizes
and creates a Salary and Wage Control Board to consist
of four members:
A member of the City Council
The City Manager.
A member of the public.
The Finance Director as a non -voting member.
SECTION 2: The duties of this Committee shall be to
keep in touch with the cost of living and also the standards
of the surrounding cities and to report their findings and
make recommendations to the City Council.
