CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 73-42 SITE
PLANS, PROVIDING FOR THE PAVING OF ALL STREETS,
SIDESTREETS, ALLEYS, AND DRIVEWAYS. -
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council
of the City of Tamarac that it is in the public .interest to require submission
of plans for paving all streets and sidestreets (whether public or private),
alleys and driveways abutting or crossing the property to be developed, prior
to approval of a site plan; and
WHEREAS, the proposal was duly considered by the Planning Commission
of the City of Tamarac with a recommendation for approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of amending the appropriate
ordinance to accomplish the foregoing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: City Ordinance No. 73-42 is hereby amended by adding Section
5-A thereto to read as follows:
"Section 5-A:
Prior to approval of a site plan, the developer shall
submit plans providing for the paving of all streets
and sidestreets (whether public or private), alleys and
driveways abutting or crossing the property to be
developed. The paving shall conform to the requirements
and specifications set forth in Ordinance 71-23, Subdivision
Improvement Regulations, and shall be constructed at the
expense of the developer."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect irmlediately upon its
final passage.
