CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES;73"%/y
PROVIDING FOR THE RE -ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM I-1 to R-3; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT
OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, there is a discrepancy in the legal description
of property described in Exhibit "A" of Ordinance No. 73-114, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of changing the
legal description to correctly reflect the legal description.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Exhibit "A" of Ordinance No. 73-114 be
deleted and replaced with the following:
Description: Tract 42
A portion of Tracts 22 and 19 of FLORIDA FRUIT LANDS COMPANY
SUBDIVISION NO. 2 of Section 5, Township 49 South, Range 41 E.,
as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 102, of the public records
of Palm Beach County, Florida, being more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 5;
thence N 00006'44" W,along the West line of said
Section 5, a distance of 1869.64 ft: thence N 89053'16"E.
a distance of 1010.98 feet to the Point of Beginning
of this description; thence S 00006'44" E, a distance
of 195.66 feet to the Point of Curvature of a circular
curve to the right, having a radius of 280.00 feet;
thence Southerly and Westerly, along the arc of said
curve, an are distance of 445.33 feet; thence S 01000'50"W,
a distance of 450.00 feet to the Point of Curvature
of a circular curve to the left, having a radius of
730.00 feet, and whose radius point bears N 01000'50"W,
a distance of 730.00 feet from the last described point,
thence Northerly and Easterly, along the arc of said
curve, an are distance of 1161.02 feet to a Point of
Tangency; thence N 00006'44" W, a distance of 195.66 ft;
thence N 89053116" E, a distance of 450.00 ft to the
Point of Beginning.
Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward County,
Florida.
Containing 10.319 Acres, more or less.
(Otherwise identified as being located across Westwood Drive from
Parcel R of Westwood Three or between N.W. 73rd STreet and
N.W. 94th Avenue.)
SECTION 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
Herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
