AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6-69
WHICH ORDINANCE ESTABLISHED REGULATIONS FOR
THE TYPE AND PLACEMENT OF LAWN MARKERS;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that Ordinance
No. 6-69, establishing the placement of lawn markers upon lawns
within the City of Tamarac, has been proven to detract rather than
enhance the aesthetics of the City of Tamarac and further has
proven to be difficult to enforce by City officials; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now deems it within the best interests,
welfare and safety of the citizens of the City of Tamarac, to repeal the
said Ordinance in its entirety;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 6-69 entitled "AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE TYPE AND PLACEMENT OF LAWN MARKERS;
PROVIDING PENALTIES THEREFORE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" is hereby repealed
in its entirety and from this date forward shall be null and void.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage. B
