CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE N0. -7446
AN ORDINANCE SETTING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR
ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY; PRO-
VIDING RATE CATEGORIES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE; REPEALING LAWS IN CONFLICT; AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, has
determined the necessity of establishing fees for the issuance of
certificates of occupancy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the cost of issuance with
the Chief Building Official,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That there is hereby created a fee schedule for the
issuance of certificates of occupancy, which shall be as follows:
Type of Dwellin Fee
Single Family Dwelling,
Townhouse, or Duplex (Each Side) $5.00
Apartments (Dwelling Unit) 3.00
POR NA04
Commercial Building (1,000 square
feet or any portion thereof) 3.00
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or
any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court
of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance becomes effective immediately
