CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 74—f�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES PRO-
VIDING FOR THE RE -ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FROM R-0 TO B-1; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFI-
CIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A
SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in
accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public
hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein, and
said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and
the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been, heard;
and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the
zoning herein and has received recommendation of the Zoning Commission
of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition ll-Z-74
by the City Council pursuant to the Charter, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission has recommended to the City
Council that said zoning change be denied without prejudice after
public hearing thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That those lands described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-0
classification to B-1 classification, subject to the site plan
approval.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tam-
arac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said change
to be ititialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the
effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordi-

nance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be
declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as
a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared to be in-
valid.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immed-
iately upon its final passage.
