AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71-22;
PROHIBITING PRIVATE STREETS WITHIN SUBDIVISIONS
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE: REPEALING LAWS IN
CONFLICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The section enumerated below of the platting
regulations as attached to Municipal Ordinance No. 71-22 are
hereby amended to read as follows:
Platting Regulations. Section 4-a-8. PRIVATE STREETS.
There shall be no private streets in the City of Tamarac
Every lot or parcel shall be served from a publicly
dedicated street.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof
as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be
invalid.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
