CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 72-29 BY
AMENDING SECTION 41 THEREOF, RECLASSIFYING
HYPNOTISTS TO THE PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT;PROVIDING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
has determined that the categories known as hypotists should be
removed from Paragraph 15 of Section 41 of Ordinance 72-29 and
placed under the professional category; and the category known
as phrenologists should be removed from paragraph 198 of Section
41 of Ordinance 72-29.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
E T,� C_ION 1. That Ordinance No. 72-29 is amended to read as
follows:
Section 41
(15) ASTROLOGERS, fortunetellers, palmists, mindreaders, mediums,
clairvoyants, phrenologists spiritualists, numerologists, and others
of a similar -nature.

SECTION 2.
All
Ordinances
or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the
same
are hereby
repealed.

SECTION 3. Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or
any portion thereof, or any paragraph, word,or sentence be declared by a
court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remainder hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
final passage.
