ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUB -DIVISION
IMPROVEMENT REGULATIONS OF ORDINANCE
NO. 74-45 BY PROVIDING FOR A NEW PARA-
GRAPH UNDER SECTION XI THEREOF SETTING
FORTH ADDITIONAL FEES TO BE PAID FOR
INSPECTIONS MADE BY THE BUILDING DEPART-
MENT SUBSEQUENT TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE
FINAL CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY IN A
SUBDIVISION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section XI ---- Construction Inspection is
amended to read as follows:
A.

"SECTION XI --- Construction Inspection"
The cost of Engineering inspection of the required improve-
ments on behalf of the City shall be paid by the Developer
in accordance with the following fee schedule:
Canal Excavation and Bulkheads ---
Pavement and Drainage
Sewage Collection
Water Distribution
370 of Estimated
Construction Cost
4 0 of Estimated
Construction Cost
4% of Estimated
Construction Cost
3 0 of Estimated
Construction Cost.
Th minimum total fee to be assessed any subdivision shall
be 400.00.
C. All inspection fees shall be paid to the City prior to
approval of the plat, or prior to commencement of construct-
ion, whichever occurs first.
D. The inspection fees shall be credited to a separate account
and plan review and engineering inspection expenses shall
be paid from this account.
E. Notwithstanding the fee schedule set forth in this section,
in the event inspections are called for subsequent to the
issuance of a final certificate of occupancy in a subdivision,
then, in that event, an additional fee reflecting the costs
of all inspections and all governmental services rendered
will be charged to the applicant.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shah, not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other
than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, as
of the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
