CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 74-41 BY
DELETING THEREFROM THE BUSINESS USES BARS, NOT
IN RESTAURANTS, COCKTAIL LOUNGES (IN RESTAURANTS)
SPECIAL EXCEPTION, AND ADDING THERETO THE CLASS-
IFICATION CONSUMPTION ON PREMISES OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES -SPECIAL EXCEPTION: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT: PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the City of
Tamarac to create a business use for on the premises consumption of
alcoholic beverages by special exception only in all business class-
ifications within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA .
SECTION 1: Section 17.4 of Ordinance #74-41 is amended by deleting
therefrom the business use entitled "Bars, not in restaurants, and
cocktail lounges (in restaurants special exception", and adding
thereto the following:

SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or
any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or
any part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid.

SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed, as of the effective date of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
final passage.
